Newlywed Katy Perry didn’t take much time off work on her honeymoon with husband Russell Brand. Today she was working hard marketing her scent Purr working in london, which is available in a cutesy crimson cat bottle, and promises to become a sweet scent.
The scent was created by Firmanich scents, and based on fragrantica.com, it “combines top notes of peach, forbidden apple, gardenia and eco-friendly bamboo using the heart of jasmine, pink freesia and Bulgarian rose and the bottom of vanilla orchid, creamy sandalwood, whitened amber, coconut and musk.”
This cartoony, saccharine scent appears to suit pretty much with Katy’s shtick. She’s striving to attract her character with thick hard lines and vibrant colors. She’s just like a scratch-and-sniff that smells of bubblegum.
Katy’s dress was quite subdued for that event. I suppose she didn’t wish to upstage her perfume bottle, but it’s really type of disappointing. She must have worn an outfit according to her smelly cat, or perhaps a least designed a dress from the bottles. C’mon Katy!
The next time she launches an item, she should talk to Katie Cost.
